The day of your wedding goes by so fast! There are so many special moments about my wedding that I want to remember forever! Pictures do a good job, but nothing compares to having a wedding video! I know when your planning a wedding, your thinking.. this much money for a video? Well, I almost made the mistake of not having a videographer! But, I am so lucky at the last minute that I decided to hire one!
If you are new around here, or just forgot I got married on October 10th! It was the best day of my life. Don’t forget to check out the sneak peak of our wedding!
During the entire wedding process, I was very price conscious about everything. We went with, the idea of not setting a budget.. Crazy Right? Well No- it was perfect for us! Our wedding invitations could not have been more perfect! I was so lucky that I found Jessie, at Howl Creative Co. She made the entire process so easy on me! I knew I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on our wedding invitations, because they just get thrown away at the end of the day, but I knew I wanted them to go with the them of our wedding. They did exactly that!
I received this product in return for my opinion. Once again all thoughts are my own.
The process was so easy! I picked out the them that I wanted. Jessie, at Howl Creative Co. had so many different designs and they are all amazing, so it was a little tough to decide what I wanted!
Once I picked out my design I was able to make some changes to make it personalized to me and my wedding! It only took one change, in wording & I knew that these were my invites! Once Jessie, at Howl Creative Co. sent me the PDF, I ordered the prints from Vistaprint and before I knew it my invites were out!
I am so excited to share with you all one of my favorite decal stores! Check out South Boutique. They have monograms for all your needs!
This is a sponsored post, but once again all opinions are my own.
I used Shop South Boutique for the monograms. I actually got the ones that you iron on. I was a little nervous about doing that myself. But, it was super easy! Actually, just like ironing your clothes! First, get yourself a jacket, then go to Shop South Boutique and get any decal! Heck, while your there get a couple extra! You can never have enough monograms! But, wait the best part.. South Boutique has more than just decals! South Boutique has the cutest clothes, scarves & jewelry!
Check her out on facebook, to see everything she has! She also has the cutest Christmas bags for kids, so don’t forget to check her out!
One year ago today. One year ago today Justin got down on one knee, and ask me to marry him. It is crazy how fast time went by.
In just a couple days I will be walking down the isle to the man of my dreams. It is so hard to believe that all the planning has come to an end. Let’s look back on some memories to see how we got here.
One of the first big memories would be When we got our house, I love our house and the home that it has become! I love being able to come home to a cozy and perfect house! Then we have Justin Becoming a Police Officer, This was a big change for us, Justin working as a police officer full time. It was a weird adjustment, but I would not change being in the police family for anything. Then we got our first puppy Penny! That was a just surprise to Justin, but I just couldn’t leave her at the pound a second longer!! Justin’s Changes jobs, he loves his Sheriff job! Then the biggest thing happened, WE GOT ENGAGED! That moment was perfect, it was such a surprise! Then we we got our second baby. Fenix is for sure a daddy’s boy, he is attached to Justin at the hip! Then we had our engagement party! That was the start of the wedding party! It was such a wonderful time! It is so hard to believe all the wonderful times we have had. I am so ready to start the next chapter with Justin! Here is to many more memories!!
Set your budget for whatever you feel comfortable with. I promise, you’ll find a dress you love within your budget! So don’t fret! There are so many different dresses out there you’ll find the perfect one with the perfect price! Try “off the shelf” dresses! You never know, you might just find one that works perfect for half the price!
2. Try on everything
Even if you don’t think you’ll like it TRY IT ON! That is the only way you’ll know if you like it or not! If you don’t like it, then it took 5 minutes of your time! No big deal!
3. Give yourself time
Don’t feel like you have to get your dress the first time you go shopping! Actually, just plan on not buying a dress on the first day & tell everyone that you are going with that. Give yourself enough time before the wedding to look at dresses, so if you don’t find a dress the first couple times, you don’t have to worry.
4. Go with a small group
You don’t need everyone and their mother to come dress shopping with you. More people, more opinions & that is not needed. When I found “the dress” it was just my mom and myself. I honestly believe that I wouldn’t have found the dress that day if there were more people that came with us.
I did call my sisters to tell them to come to the shop, so I could make sure that they liked it!
5. When you know its the dress you just know
Trust me.. that feeling is REAL! After I tried on 50+ dresses I thought that there was no way that I would have that feeling.. Well I tried on this dress that was COMPLETELY out of my comfort zone and as soon as I put on that dress “that feeling” just happened!
